One More Life Gallery Presents: Meet the Illustrator!
Featuring the talented artist and illustrator Dawn Lo!
Join us for our next free-to-attend Meet the Illustrator series, featuring illustrator Dawn Lo. This event invites audiences of all ages to experience how art and storytelling come together through picture book illustration, whether you’re a young reader, an aspiring illustrator, or simply curious about the creative process.
Dawn will share from her beautifully illustrated picture book, Hello Baby, It’s Me, Alfie by Maggie Hutchings (recommended for ages 3–7 but welcoming for anyone who’d like to attend). The session will include a cozy story time, a brief Q&A, a creative journey share, a book signing, and an open studio gouache live-painting demo, where guests can observe Dawn’s illustration process up close.
Dawn’s original artworks will also be on display in the gallery during the event.

ABOUT DAWN LO
Dawn Lo is an illustrator whose work has appeared in zines, picture books, public art installations, and more. Growing up in both Hong Kong and Canada, Dawn tends to create quirky and whimsical works that are inspired by little moments from everyday life with a nod to the Asian diaspora.
