We respectfully acknowledge that we live and work on unceded, traditional and ancestral xÊ·mÉ™θkÊ·É™y̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw (Squamish), and sÉ™lÌ“ilw̓ətaʔɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) territories.

One More Life Gallery was created out of our love for art and the joy of sharing it. For Flavia, art has always been about having fun, connecting with others, and celebrating creativity in its many forms. Starting One More Life Gallery was a natural way for us to bring more art to our community and create a playful, welcoming space where people can enjoy it together.

After years of showing her work locally and internationally, including a solo show in Tampa, Florida, Flavia wanted to focus on building something close to home. Together, Flavia and Danny launched One More Life Gallery in October 2023. And so began a fun adventure of popping up wherever there was a space we could fill with art!

Our first show, Spooky Postcard Show, featured over 60 artists and more than 350 artworks. We were so happy to see so many artists and art lovers come through that weekend and celebrate creativity! This show set the tone for what One More Life is all about: creating accessible and welcoming art events for everyone to enjoy! We received so much support from the very beginning of our adventure, and we are so grateful for it. Since then, we’ve hosted seven shows, represented over 300 artists, and shown more than 2,000 pieces in different venues, working with both emerging and established artists from Canada and abroad.

Paired with our art show openings, we also host free, family-friendly workshops that are designed to be welcoming for kids and enjoyable for all ages. The focus is on creating a fun, low-pressure space where anyone can join in, no matter their experience level.

One More Life Gallery is our passion. It is our burning desire to bring inclusive, accessible art events to our community and create opportunities for artists to share, connect, and be seen. We do this because we love it, and we believe in making time and space for our creative community to flourish together.

It ain't over yet!
