One More Life Gallery Presents: Meet the Illustrator! Featuring our very first guest, illustrator Christine Wei!

Join us for the launch of our new, free-to-attend Meet the Illustrator series, where the artists behind picture books share their stories and creative process. This series brings together art and storytelling for families and young readers.

Our first featured illustrator, Christine Wei, will take us on a cozy, creative journey through her beautifully illustrated children’s books. She will be reading from two heartwarming fall-themed stories, Welcome, Rain and Come, Read with Me, perfect for ages 2 to 6.

Kids and families can enjoy storytime, learn how books and illustrations come to life, and join a fun drawing activity inspired by colourful umbrellas and raincoats.

ABOUT CHRISTINE WEI

Christine Wei is a Taiwanese Canadian illustrator based in Vancouver, Canada. She graduated from Emily Carr University of Art + Design with a Bachelor of Fine Arts and has since then worked in editorial illustration, children's books and public art programs. With an interest in discovering and memorializing tender moments in life, Christine’s work often reflects upon the intricate relationships people forge with nature, others and oneself across alternating passages of whimsical and poetic depictions of her subject matters.
